Empowered Connections: Celebrating Women’s Equality Day
Join us for a night of connecting with other women from various women-focused organizations in Hawaii!
Participating Organizations:
- American Association of University Women of Hawaii (AAUW) For over a century, AAUW of Hawaiʻi has advocated for women and girls. We strive for gender equity through scholarships, grants, programming, partnerships, and advocacy.
- Commercial Real Estate Women Hawaii (CREW) Promotes commercial real estate business opportunities for our members and provide industry networking, education and leadership opportunities.
- Hawaii Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) The Hawaii PWIPM attracts, develops, and supports women in the pest management industry through educational programs, resources, and peer networking.
- Hawaii Women in Tech Supporting Hawaii's Women in Tech through local events and meet-ups, providing a safe, supportive, judgment-free space for those pursuing careers in technology.
- Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - Women in Engineering Organization (IEEE-WIE) IEEE Women in Engineering is a global network of IEEE members dedicated to promoting women engineers and inspiring girls to pursue a career in engineering.
- University of Hawaii College of Engineering - Wahine Connect We are dedicated to world-class education and research, producing the entrepreneurial and innovative human/intellectual capital required to be competitive in an increasingly technological and global society.
- Honolulu Habitat for Humanity’s Wahine Build educates and empowers women to flex their skills or try something new by building on a Habitat construction site.
- National Women in Roofing (NWiR) is a volunteer-based organization that supports and advances the careers of women roofing professionals, from manufacturing to design to installation, investigation to repair to management, and every step in between.
- Women Speaking Out To give a voice to the youth of Hawai’i by empowering them with education, innovative action, and providing opportunities to speak out and take a stand against dating violence.
- Women’s Fund of Hawai‘i The mission of Women’s Fund of Hawai‘i is to support innovative, grassroots programs that empower women and girls statewide.
- Women Transportation Seminar (WTS) WTS attracts, sustains, connects, and advances women’s careers to strengthen the transportation industry.
